Image Denoiser - Clean Grain Before You Deliver the File

Use this page when the complaint is noise: speckle in shadows, colour blotches in a night photo, grain across a sky. If the problem is softness rather than grain, the AI image sharpener is the shorter route; if the frame is blurry instead of noisy, start at the blurry photo fixer.

Noise Fit

Use it when the pixels are already the right size but noisy

Noise is what a sensor records when there is not enough light: film-like grain in the shadows, purple and green speckle in dark areas, and coloured blotches that survive even when the photo looks sharp. Denoising is a judgement call, because every noise reduction also removes a little texture. There is no strength dial here; the model cleans as it rebuilds the image, so the practical lever you control is the scale step and the quality of the file you upload. Test on the worst frame you have, then look at flat areas such as sky, studio backdrops and skin, where leftover speckle and smeared patches are easiest to see.

Best For

The jobs this page is built to handle well

  • Night and indoor phone shots with visible grain
  • Dark product or interior frames where speckle ruins a clean sweep
  • Scans of old prints where paper grain competes with subject detail

Choose Another Page When

These jobs usually need a different workflow

  • A file that is merely small: that is an enlargement job
  • An image where grain is the intended look, such as film emulation
Best input

A sharp but grainy file, ideally the camera original

Typical output

The same framing with calmer shadows and cleaner colour

Check first

Sky, shadows and skin for leftover speckle or smearing

Next Step

Test the noisiest frame in the set, not an average one

Upload the frame with the worst noise. If shadows come back clean without turning plastic, the rest of the set behaves the same way; if detail vanishes, take a smaller step.

How to Use Image Denoiser

Upscale your images in 3 simple steps

1

Upload the grainy original

Work from the camera file or the highest-quality export you have, and keep it within 10MB. Recompressing before upload adds new blocking on top of the noise you are fighting.

2

Start at 2x and judge a flat area

Run 2x first and open the result at 100 percent. Flat areas show the truth: if speckle is gone and texture survives, the file is done. Only raise the step when you also need more pixels.

3

Keep the version that still has texture

If the result looks waxy, the workflow took more than the file could spare. Re-run from the original at a smaller step, or accept the grain and deliver at the destination size.
